Eric Omondi has addressed claims of being a deadbeat father to his alleged son with Jackie Maribe.
The African president of comedy said that he can not delve into the matter because he might be jailed, considering that the matter is still in court.
Eric however said that he will one day speak his truth about the dead beat claims.
He also insinuated that he was supporting the boy despite having doubts that he is his son.
“Mimi nataka watoto watatu wasichana. That is my prayer. Yule mtoto wangu na Jackie Maribe, hio ni case noma sana ni vile siweziongelea hii story nitapelekwa kortini but one day I will say my truth in terms of dead beat. Kids are blessing whether they are yours or not. Once a kid knows you as their dad the best thing you can do is raise them as their dad, nakuja pole pole,” he said during the The Obinna Live show.

Obinna advised him to take a DNA test but joked that the ears of Maribe’s son look like Eric’s.
In June this, the matter between Eric and Jackie hit headlines again after Eric said that he was having issues determining if he was the biological father of the child because DNA test was yet to go through.
“Sasa sijui. Sijui mimi but haina shida,” he told Millele FM radio presenter Ankali Ray.
He added that he was however supporting the child from time to time despite the circumstance.
Maribe however fired back demanding Eric to leave her name and that of her son out of his comedy.
“I have resisted responding to this liar. He thinks parenting is part of his comedy. He lies about everything. Leave my name and my child out of your comedy Eric. I’m tired,” the former Citizen TV journalist said.
