Held With Missing Kitengela Three: 7 Dark Secrets Behind Wajir MCA’s 6-Month Abduction

Yussuf Ahmed Tolfiyow

Six months after his disappearance, Wajir Member of County Assembly (MCA) Yussuf Ahmed Tolfiyow resurfaced, revealing chilling details of his captivity and shedding light on the fate of other missing persons, including the infamous Kitengela Three.

In an exclusive interview with Nation, a relative of the MCA disclosed that Tolfiyow was held in the same structure as Jamil Longton, Aslam Longton, and Bob Njagi, three men whose disappearance in Kitengela remains shrouded in mystery.

According to the family member, the MCA endured incommunicado detention, locked in a torture chamber adjacent to a room housing the Kitengela Three before their release.

“He only told us that he was held next to Bob Njagi. He was in a separate room, but he could hear Njagi screaming,” the relative recounted.

Below are some dark revelations from the abduction of the Wajir MCA:

1. The Secret Location

For the first two months of his captivity, Tolfiyow was reportedly held within Nairobi before being moved to an undisclosed location.

2. The Shared Captivity With Kitengela Three

His detention in the same facility as the Kitengela Three suggests possible links between their abductions.

3. The Torture Chamber

Tolfiyow was confined in a room designed for physical and psychological torment.

4. Njagi’s Statement Corroborates the Claim

Activist Bob Njagi, one of the Kitengela Three, previously hinted at the MCA’s presence in the facility, stating on the JKL Show on February 10, 2025, that he saw Tolfiyow through a keyhole.

5. The Mysterious Release

Tolfiyow’s abductors released him at Pangani shopping center at 9:30 pm, handing him Ksh5,000 and warning him against looking back.

He arrived home in Eastleigh at around 11:00 p.m., reuniting with his family after half a year of uncertainty.

6. The Threats to Silence Him

Before his release, captors allegedly warned Tolfiyow against speaking out about his ordeal.

7. A Pattern of Abductions

Tolfiyow’s case fits into a disturbing pattern of disappearances and reappearances involving individuals with political or activist affiliations.

As more details emerge, his harrowing ordeal adds another chapter to Kenya’s growing list of mysterious abductions, leaving many questioning who is behind these chilling operations and why they continue unchecked.
