Many people for a long time believed Akothee financed the lavish lifestyle of her younger lover Nelson Oyugi alias Nelly Oaks, but tha’t not the case apparently.
The mother of five opened up about Nelly Oak’s hustle in a post on social media while celebrating him as her Man Crush Monday (#MCM)
Akothee revealed that Nelly Oaks is into real estate and that they are currently constructing some villas in Kilifi.

Be better and best for your own self ! Don’t feel guilty for flaunting your sweat , it has nothing to do with your family back ground or inheritance ? , wisdom can never be inherited

She further engaged fans who commented on her post clarifying that Nelly Oaks doesn’t depend on her financially.
“Na hajawai niomba pesa, wengine hata hawana aibu kuomba omba wanawake pesa, Nelly hunitumia doo ama tuwawekee screenshots (He has never asked me for money, some men are not even ashamed to ask women for money. Nelly sends me money or you want me to share screenshots to prove it)” Akothee replied to a social media user.
