Wema Sepetu welcomed Hamisa Mobetto to her home where they discussed dating Diamond Platnumz.
On Wednesday, the Bongo movies actress hosted guests at her home for Iftar celebrations.
Speaking to journalists during the event, Sepetu talked about her friendship with Mobetto.
It was at that time that she dismissed the rumours on the internet that she had a quarrel with Mobetto over Diamond.
“Hatujawahi kugombana mimi na Hamisa. Yeye ni kipenzi changu kila siku,” she said.
Wema Sepetu made it clear that she and Mobetto have been close friends for years.
The former Miss Tanzania revealed that she got to know the mother of two many years ago before she even became famous.
“Utata wa hapa na pale kwa kweli umetokea lakini mimi ni mtu ambaye anapenda kuacha mambo yaliyopita yapite. Huwa sipendi sana kushikilia ugomvi. Tumetokea sana kama hatujagombana naye,” Sepetu said.
Hamisa Mobetto on his part revealed that the veteran actress has been a very good friend to her for almost a decade and noted that Sepetu helped her build her career.
“Hakuwahi kunibagua mimi. Alinifahamu hata kama sijaanza habari za usanii, alinijua kitambo tangu nilipomaliza shule,” Hamisa Mobetto said.
For a long time, the two Bongo queens have been alleged to be at loggerheads mainly due to their past events. The two have dated Bongo star Diamond Platnumz at different times.
Diamond and Wema Sepetu dated between 2012 and 2014 but they never had a child together.
Mobetto who is the last of them to be in a relationship with the WCB boss is believed to have a boy together, Dylan Abdul Naseeb. However, there has been tension between the two regarding the child.
Last year, the model complained that Diamond had abandoned the child and claimed she did not know the reason. This is after the Wasafi boss failed to celebrate the child’s birthday.
