Musician Akothee has admitted that being a radio presenter is a tough job.
According to her, presenters sometimes talk to themselves inside the studios since people out there have switched off their radios.
She begged netizens to leave their radios on even when they are not listening so that presenters can not speak to themselves.
“Wee respect to all the presenters. Sasa unajiongelesha kwa studio na utapata mtu hata amefunga radio. Haki fungulieni hata majirani wasikie mkiwa kazini. Just lock your house but leave your radio on . Eeeee. From 7.00 pm to 11.00pm Unajiongelesha tuu. See you next Thursday same time,” she said.
Akothee shared the experience after a hosting a night show at NRG radio for the first time. She hosted the show alongside comedian MC Jessy and musician Mejja.
Earlier, she clarified that the radio station had not fully employed her and negotiations and terms of engagement were ongoing.
