Avril used to be the most popping female musician in Kenya just a few years back, right now she is just a shell of her former self.

Avril took a break from music sometimes in April 2018 when she gave birth to her first and only child. She gave birth to a baby boy after years of struggling to get pregnant because of fibroids in her womb.
Motherhood took a toll on Avril’s music career as she has been struggling to make a comeback in vain.
The mother of one on April 30th 2022 released her latest song ‘Danger’ featuring Brandy Maina and it flopped terribly.
The song got Avril’s fans talking as they pondered what happened to her, ‘Danger’ had only garnered 976 views on YouTube in eight hours.
A quick analysis at Avril’s YouTube channel depicts a grim picture, most of her songs, some which were released four years ago, have less than 100k views.
Most musicians of Avril’s caliber get over 100k views on YouTube in just a matter of hours upon uploading their music videos on YouTube.
Avril was forced to address her music downfall as fans discussed her dwindling fortune after releasing ‘Danger’.
“Don’t worry when I die the songs I’ve done over time will trend at least for a while, maybe even get love. Never worry. Thanks for the post, the mockery and the love,” Avril wrote while responding to queries why she was struggling musically.
