Gloria Nyaboke – former Tahidi high actress and baby mama to late rugby coach Benjamin Ayimba – has gotten into trouble for eating fare sent to her.
Nyaboke’s would-be date sent her Ksh227 for fare to their agreed meeting point but she never showed up.
However, the man, only identified as Wafula, decided to give Nyaboke a hard time after she ‘ate’ the fare.
Wafula called Nyaboke several times and even sent her texts insulting her for eating the fare.
A distraught Nyaboke took to social media to lament that Wafula was blowing up her phone and likening her to a gold digger yet he only sent her Ksh227.
“Haki kuna gaidi alinitumia khs227 saa kumi jioni.Amenipigia 45 times and has decided to text akaniita gold digger nikule pesa yake wiki mzima. Jameni Wafula, mi mbili ni pesa unataka kunipasulia simu?” Nyaboke wrote.
Most social media users however implore Nyaboke to just refund the man’s money.
Nyaboke got married to the late Ayimba as his fourth wife in 2012 and together they were blessed with two children – Achieng Marie and Otieno Benjie.
The former Tahidi High actress however has two other children from her past marriage – Ethan Omari and Hawi Nyakundi.
Nyaboke and her late husband Ayimba lived together for 7 years until 2018 when she dragged him to court.
In the court papers, she accused the former Kenya 7s Rugby coach of moving out of their matrimonial home and also failing to pay upkeep of their two children.
On 22nd May 2021, Ayimba died from Cerebral Malaria. Months later, Nyaboke vowed to remarry by 2022. But she is now eating fare instead of meeting potential suitors.
