Esther Arunga’s Husband Pleads Guilty To Their 3-Year-Old Son’s Murder

Esther Arunga lost her three year old son, after her husband Quincy, killed him after believing he was possessed by demons.

In a shocking turn of events, Quincy Timberlake, a 43-year-old man residing in Kallangur, north of Brisbane, Australia, and husband to former KTN news anchor Esther Arunga has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of their son, Sinclair Timberlake.

The tragic incident occurred on June 18, 2014.

Initially charged with murder, Quincy Timberlake was scheduled to stand trial in the Brisbane Supreme Court. However, he changed his plea to guilty, admitting to the lesser charge of manslaughter. The Crown accepted the plea and subsequently withdrew the murder charge.

At the beginning of the investigation, Quincy Timberlake had informed the police that his son had suffered a fatal fall down the stairs, and emergency services had been unable to revive him.

The explanation left investigators puzzled and initiated a thorough examination of the circumstances surrounding Sinclair’s tragic demise.

As the case unfolded, Esther Arunga, Timberlake’s wife and the mother of the deceased child, came forward with a shocking revelation.

She disclosed to the authorities that her husband had not only punched their son in the stomach but had also thrown him against a wall, leading to his untimely death.

Esther Arunga also faced legal consequences for her role as an accessory in her son’s manslaughter, but there was no suggestion that she had harmed her son directly.

The Crown’s prosecution team presented a chilling narrative during the trial, revealing how Quincy Timberlake had murdered his 3-year-old son because he believed the child was possessed by aliens residing in his stomach. The deeply disturbing narration added layers of complexity to an already heart-wrenching case.

In light of Quincy Timberlake’s unexpected guilty plea to manslaughter, Crown prosecutor Caitlin Penfold accepted the plea in the Brisbane Supreme Court, bringing a sudden end to what was anticipated to be a judge-only trial.

The sentencing date is now scheduled for September 29.
