Eric Omondi has warned foreign musicians to avoid performing in Kenya for one year as he continues to push for local music to be prioritized.
The comedian, who has been at the forefront advocating for Kenyan musicians, wants foreign artistes not to be booked for shows in Kenya.
Eric warned Diamond, Davido, Wizkid, Tems, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage and Konshens to steer clear of Kenya for a year.
“Brothers and Sisters. We love you, We appreciate you and we love Visitors but please give us some little time to put our house in order. WE ARE NOT OKAY. GOD BLESS YOU🙏🙏🙏 Please dont visit for Now. Just give us one Year to recover and catch up then you can Visit again,” he wrote.

Eric had first warned Kenyan promoters against booking foreign musicians, claiming that they were the root cause of the downfall of the local showbiz.
