Comedian Eric Omondi has vowed to ensure Jaguar and Jalango’s political careers end prematurely if they violate their agreements.
Speaking during an interview with Word Is, Eric revealed that he had struck a deal with the two politicians to support their bids to get elected in the forthcoming general election.
However, Eric noted that he will sabotage their political careers in case they violate their agreements.
“I am going to support my friends Jaguar, Jalang’o. I have given them an ultimatum, I will support them and when they start joking, I will ensure they leave Parliament before five years,” said Eric Omondi.
Eric promised to cause trouble for his friends if they do not meet the expectations of voters.
“I will sign the petition to have them removed,” he said.
Jaguar is seeking to be re-elected as MP for Starehe on a UDA ticket, while Jalang’o joined politics to contest for Langata parliamentary seat on ODM ticket.
Asked if he would join politics as well, Eric stressed that he will never quit comedy for a career at the August House.
“Never ever in my life will I join politics. If I go to Parliament, who will entertain you outside here? God made musicians, comedians, politicians, doctors…. He knows why he did that. Eric Omondi is an entertainer. It is like asking Raila to get into comedy,” said Eric.
