Manzi Wa Kibera has become a laughing stock on social media after opening up about her financial woes.
The socialite revealed that she was flat broke and couldn’t even afford to pay Ksh2,500 rent for her mud house located in Ayany area, Kibera.
“I am not ashamed, at first I did not even want people to know where I stay… I wasn’t confident. At first when I showed people my house… I did not expect them to contribute money for me. Right now I am used to it, anyone can visit me,” Manzi was Kibera said amid tears.
She added that;
“If someone can help me then it is ok. But I wouldn’t want to stress myself with rent in a one-bedroom house. Sometimes I can not afford the 2,500 how will I go to a 5,000 bob house? People were abusing me online, saying I pretend yet I live in the ghetto. I would love to leave this house.”
Manzi Wa Kibera said that she survives on money generous fans send her when she announces on social media that she is broke and has no food.
Eric Omondi has expressed shock at Manzi Wa Kibera’s financial situation because he gave her a lot of money to build her own brand.
Speaking to the press, Omondi revealed that the Kibera socialite approached her during the shooting of House Material and requested him to help her build her brand.
The comedian revealed that he ultimately gave Manzi Wa Kibera Ksh700,000 to help her build her brand.
He doesn’t understand how the Kibera socialite is now so broke can’t even afford to put food on the table.
