Eric Omondi has come out to blast Netflix claiming they stole his idea for Wife Material to come up with their new show ‘Young, Famous and African’.

Netflix reality series ‘Young, famous and African’ which premiered on March 18th features a star-studded cast of the most talked-about male and female celebrities in Africa.

It follows 8 African celebrities who have a huge social media following and who usually receive intense media coverage across borders.

The reality series follows a crew of famed, affluent stars as they work and play, flirt and feud in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Diamond Platnumz and his baby mama Zari Hassan are among celebs who have been featured in the Netflix reality series.

The reality series has been the talk of discussions on social media since it premiered on March 18th.

Eric Omondi has since come out to accuse Netflix of stealing his idea for Wife Material to come up with ‘Young, Famous and African’.

The comedian took to social media to claim that Wife Material and Young, Famous and African have a similar format and since his show is older it only means Netflix copied him.

“The Format used in #YoungFamousAndAfrican is the same format for Wife Material. It’s either someone has been watching and stolr the Format from us ama it’s a ready good coincidence,” wrote Eric Omondi.
