Eric Omondi Narrates Horror At His Boss Jimi Wanjigi’s Westlands Office Following Police Raid

Comedian Eric Omondi revealed police who raided his boss Jimi Wanjigi’s office in Westlands held employees ‘hostage’ for hours denying them basic need like medical attention.

Police raided Wanjigi’s Nairobi offices and his Muthaiga home on Monday night January 17th under unclear circumstances.

According to earlier reports, the courts had issued a warrant of arrest against the famous tycoon for illegally attaining land illegally.

Police officers from the anti terror police unit toured his homestead and after several hours managed to arrest him.

Some shocking videos of how these cops were using some heavy machinery to break down doors at Wanjigi’s house.

The businessman-cum-politician was later ferried to Kamukunji police station under a heavy security.

This was after some of his followers caused chaos outside his Kwacha offices in Westlands, forcing police to lobby tear gas to disperse some rowdy youths.

Eric Omondi was among Wanjigi’s supporters who staged protest outside the tycoon’s Westlands office demanding police to release employees held hostage.

“I can’t believe this is still happening in 2022. This is a shame to Kenya and Africa at large. The people in this compound have been subjected to the most Inhumane of conditions. They have not eaten anything for 16 hours,” said Eric Omondi.

The comedian lamented that a female colleague of his was in need of urgent medical attention but she has been prevented from leaving Wanjigi’s office.

“There is a lady colleague of ours whose life is in danger because she needs to take her medicine. The doctor is out here and she would not be allowed in. We are begging them to at least let her out so she can get urgent medical attention,” posed Eric Omondi.
He added that the officers involved in Jimi Wanjigi’s office raid have not served him with any search warrant. My boss @jimi.wanjigi has been asking for any form of order or warrant to no avail,” said Omondi.
