Comedian Eric Omondi has broken his silence after being criticized for posting a video of his girlfriend, Lynne after she lost her pregnancy.
In his interview with Mboya Vincent, he explained that his girlfriend started complaining about stomach pains before her she suffered the miscarriage.
“I got that information later and then I went to take Lynne to the hospital, it’s something I don’t want anyone to go through,” he said.
Since it was Lynne’s first pregnancy, they didn’t understand what was going on.
Eric responded to the actions of the netizens to reprimand him when he uploaded the video and made it clear that he was not seeking publicity.
The comedian said that this is a big thing that should not be played with or used to chase clout.
“The doctors were expecting us, I got a message after five hours. Kenyans should be smart. There are things we cannot joke about. Things like violence or cruelty, rape and even losing a child,” he said.
Eric revealed that Lynne had abdominal pain for three days but when she lost her pregnancy she went through the pain for six hours without stopping.
He said that such events are matters of life and death and not things to entertain people.
“We often hear people say that they have given birth, lost their pregnancy or had pain in childbirth. We do not understand well. We did not know the sex of our child yet because the pregnancy was still small,” he said.
