Eric Omondi invited journalists for a press conference to unveil his nightclub located in Industrial Area.
The comedian announced that he had just acquired the club which is called Maxy’s.
“So I have called you guys here today because am launching Maxy’s. I have partnered with a brother of fine but sasa mimi ndo nimetake charge of hii club,” he said.
Eric claimed that he bought the club at a whopping Ksh18 million and spent another Ksh22 million on renovations, bringing the sum total to Ksh40 million.
The comedian stressed that he was not clout chasing, insisting that the club belongs to him.
He even showed the documents to prove that the club is his. He said that he will officially launch the club in the next 35 days.
Eric Omondi is known to be a notorious clout chaser. He once claimed that he owned a multimillion shillings mansion in Karen, even produced documents to support his claim but it later turned out the mansion was just an Airbnb he was promoting.
