Blogger Edgar Obare has revealed that his blood brother was kidnapped on late Saturday evening under unclear circumstances.
According to Edgar Obare who asked Kenyans to pray for his family, his brother was kidnapped by unknown people on Saturday to an undisclosed location before being tortured.
With regards to the reasons for the kidnap, the blogger disclosed the kidnappers wanted the brother to tell them his whereabouts.
“I would like to ask you to pray for my family. Saturday night I was informed that they kidnapped my brother.
They kidnapped him, tortured him, trying to get information about my whereabouts, that’s one of the scariest things.
I am so sad that he had to go through that, and that some people in this country would go so low and go after my family. I hate this country, how they get away with everything,” Edgar Obare said.
Edgar Obare also added that the brother has been under government surveillance for some time since he sent him to pick up some parcels at the airport.
“When my brother went to pick up the package, he finds DCI agents waiting for him. He is taken to a room, told to wait there and surrender his phone.
They locked him up in the room for 3-4 hours. They were asking where is Edgar,” he narrated.
Consequently, he hopes that justice will be served to his brother because the family is so heartbroken.
At the same time, Edgar Obare confessed that he was quiet about the whole thing since the brother hoped that it could be kept out of the public limelight.
“Hearing my brother cry on the phone, trying to explain what they did to him. He did not deserve it, he is an innocent person, we are just related. We will be reporting the matter, hoping police will do something.” He stated.
In the meantime, the social media slay king has been exposing a number of Kenyan famous personalities for engaging in various crimes and their dating secrets.
He recently exposed key persons such as radio personality Felix Odiwuor aka Jalang’o for being part and parcel of wash wash business (money laundering).
