Edday Nderitu said she survived in Kenya after all the drama involving Samidoh and Karen Nyamu.
The mother of three took to Facebook to declare that she is teaching herself to thrive after she ‘survived’.
Edday noted that she deserves to be happy after making it through difficult situations meant to destroy her.
“After you have survived, teach yourself how to thrive. Because you deserve to be happy after making it through everything that tried to destroy you,” Edday wrote.
Edday Nderitu and her three children moved to the US in May 2023 and it’s now clear she won’t go back to Kenya soon.
The mother of three was hosted by Bernice Saroni at her house in Boston, Massachusetts when she first arrived in the US.
In August, Edday announced she had enrolled her children in school in the US.
In early September, Edday announced that she had landed a new job and was moving into her own house.
Edday couldn’t get a job or enroll her children in school in the US with just a tourist visa. She applied for asylum when she landed in the US.
To seek asylum, one must already be in the U.S. and believed to be in danger of persecution if they return to their country.
