“In my Kikuyu culture, there is something called curses, taboo and abomination” DJ Fatxo explained his decision to leave.
Jeff Mwathi’s family insists DJ Fatxo killed their kin even after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) cleared him.
DJ Fatxo was the main suspect in the death of Jeff Mwathi who died mysteriously at his house.
The deceased fell from the 10th floor of DJ Fatxo’s apartment. DCI believe Mwathi could have committed suicide but his family insists DJ Fatxo has a hand in his death.
Speaking during an interview with Radio Jambo, DJ Fatxo revealed he will relocate from his 10th-floor apartment in Kasarani because of Jeff’s death.
Fatxo said he could not continue living in the same house since some spirits may have invaded it.
“In my Kikuyu culture, there is something called curses, taboo and abomination. A taboo means that for instance when someone dies at a particular spot, you cannot continue staying there since some weird spirits have invaded it,” he said.
Additionally, Fatxo said he could not immediately move from the apartment as the DCI had barred him from moving out until the completion of investigations.
“The DCI blocked me from vacating the house until they conclude their investigations. But at the right time, I will move out,” he said.
Jeff Mwathi’s grandmother invoked the deceased’s ghost to haunt DJ Fatxo until he confesses.
The granny insisted that DJ Fatxo will not have peace, insisting that Jeff’s ghost will not rest.
