Diana Marua’s sister Michelle Ngoje has revealed that that she became a drug junkie while she was a student at Kenyatta University (KU).
Michelle, a makeup artiste and a vlogger, opened up about her struggle with drug addiction while speaking on her YouTube channel.
Diana’s sister noted that she was introduced to using marijuana/weed while studying in KU and she ultimately got addicted to using the drug.
Michelle says that it was during her time at Kenyatta university that she experienced a lot of her ‘firsts’.
She stated that her desire to fit in is what led her to start smoking weed, because everyone else was doing it.
Michelle regrets that she did not know that years later she would get addicted to smoking bhang and have a hard time overcoming her addiction.
Diana’s sister however didn’t get into the nitty gritty of her journey in rehab, she said that she would give more information on the topic over time as it wasn’t the main goal of the video.
She also talked about how she messed up and ended getting pregnant with twins while in her second year, at the time she was 19-years-old.
Michelle recounted how breaking the news to her father was the hardest thing that she had to do. However, her father was very understanding and just wanted to understand what her plans were since she was in the predicament already.
She narrated how the pregnancy disrupted both her education and her work life (as she was working while she was in school).
Michelle admitted that had was a good support system around her which was the reason why she was able to overcome all the challenges she faced.
