Diana Marua reveals that her dad used to beat her mother silly to the point that she had to flee from her matrimonial home.
Bahati’s wife opened up about her troublesome childhood while speaking during an interview on her YouTube channel.
She revealed that she was raised in a dysfunctional family where she was the first born in a family of three children.
Diana said that her father Joseph Omach was an alcoholic and that he physically assaulted her mother.
She noted that her mom was forced to flee for her dear life when the beatings became too much.
The mother of two said that her dad started battering her and her two sisters after her mother left.
She recalled how her father would return home drunk and beat them silly for petty reasons.
Diana revealed that her second-born sister would run away from home and spend the night in the bush in a desperate bid to avoid her father’s brutality.
Bahati’s wife said her mom would secretly visit her in school without her father’s knowledge and this went on until she finished her secondary education.
She disclosed that her mom died after a long battle with diabetes. Diana said her mother’s health deteriorated to a point where she suffered memory loss and couldn’t recognize her anymore.
