Popular content creator and part time rapper Diana Marua has been blamed for being behind Bahati’s failed career as a gospel music artist.
According to comedian Eric Omondi, Bahati left gospel ministry and is now hanging with Diana on his YouTube channel instead of releasing gospel songs that saw him scoop various groove awards previously.
Eric noted that Bahati as well as other former gospel artist will never prosper in anything they do because of their decision to quit gospel ministry.
“Bahati left gospel music he is now singing secular. He is hanging on his YouTube channel with his wife. You have left ministry, You have left God, you have left the church, you will never prosper, you will never succeed,” the comedian said in a 3-minute long video he recently shared on his social media channels.
He urged Bahati to quit politics and go back to singing gospel songs.
“Bahati achana na politics, come back and give us songs that are inspired by God, songs that move the nation, songs that influence the youths, Barua, Mama give us that,” Eric said.
Bahati joined politics last year and unsuccessfully vied for the Mathare parliamentary seat in August, after spending over Kshs30 million in campaigns.
He claimed that he won the elections but was rigged out by his party. He was however proud that he attempted to contest in the elections instead of quitting after a lot of frustrations.
