The rapper has landed a new job at Music Copyright Society of Kenya(MCSK) after meeting with MCSK Boss Ezekiel Mutua on Wednesday.
According to Mutua Stevo is very talented and he admires his music.
“Kijana ako talented ako na talanta ya hali ya juu. Niliposkia wimbo wa Stevo wa kwanza ilikuwa ni vijana muache mihadarati. At that time I think I was at KFCB. I started liking him in fact there is a time I even sent my PA, we were to meet so we’ve come a long way I admire his music, his talent, he is a great guy and so when I learnt that he was going through ups and downs which is normal, since Covid, a lot of musicians and artists have not found their bearing, I was like we can meet and see,” he told YouTube content creators.
Mutua added that he has seen Stevo get registered as MCSK member. He further said that that of Stevo becoming the Youth ambassador at MCSK is underway.
“We have met and realized actually he is not even a member of MCSK. The first thing is I have paid for him to register and my colleagues have taken up that. Number 2, we have agreed that we pursue an arrangement where he becomes an ambassador for the youth at MCSK kuendeleza maswala ya mziki kuturepresent katika mambo ya mziki, kuhimiza vijana na pia akitumia talanta yake na huo wimbo wake,”Mutua said.
He also said that he is organizing with NACADA so that Stevo can also become an ambassador for the campaign against Drug Abuse.
Stevo on the other hand expressed his excitement meeting with Mutua, saying that he is ready for the job.
“I am ready to work with him and all those who want to help to come forward so that we can support Kenyan music. Kenya has a lot of talents compared to other countries,” the artist said.
