Daddy Owen (real name Owen Mwatia) is a famous Kenyan gospel musician and songwriter. He is one of the most successful gospel musicians in Kenya, with several hit songs to his name.
Daddy Owen began his music career after releasing his music in the early 2000’s. He has since released several other hit songs, including “Mbona”, “Saluti”, “Vanity”, “Foundation”, and “Mungu Yangu”.
Owen has won several awards, including the Groove Awards Male Artiste of the Year award in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
Apart from music, he is also a philanthropist and an entrepreneur. He runs several businesses, including a clothing line and a music production company.
He has also been involved in various charitable initiatives, including the Daddy Owen Foundation, which supports children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
MP Kaluma plans to introduce a bill that will seek the government support in prohibiting LGBTQIA activities in Kenya.
