Corazon Kwamboka: Frankie’s Family Want To Take Away My Children

Corazon Kwamboka has come out to reveal that she has been fighting with Frankie’s family over custody of her two children.

The mother of two says Frankie’s family have been trying to blackmail her citing her struggle with postpartum depression as a reason why they want to take her babies away.

Corazon opened up about suffering from postpartum depression after she gave birth to her first child on August 9 2020.

She narrated how she sneaked out of the house with her son in the dead of the night when curfew was still in place and drove around aimlessly.

“I had postpartum depression. First of all, I wasn’t bonding with the baby I was super stressed which sometimes happens because you know sometimes you have blues. It got to a time where I was now starting to put myself in danger. I remember one day I was like at night I just started freaking out, entered the car with the baby in the middle of Corona and am driving out na kuna curfew sahio sijui curfew was 9. And I left with my car and I just started driving I don’t know where I am going.

“So then I drove and got to some petrol station and I started crying then I called my assistant at the time we talked a bit and then I called Frankie and we talked and then I went back to the house,” she she narrated.

Corazon noted that she discovered she was suffering from postpartum depression after talking to members of his family. She disclosed that her mother and Frankie’s mom helped her get through.

“I talked to Frankie’s mom and that’s when I realized that actually what I am going through it wasn’t the blues it was postpartum depression so then that’s when I started dealing with it with the help of my mom and Frankie’s mom. I didn’t see a doctor but at least I had very good support,” Corazon said.

The socialite now says Frankie’s family has been using her struggle with postpartum depression to argue that she is not sane in a bid to take away her kids.

The mother of two opened up about being frustrated by her former in-laws while responding to Frankie’s controversial interview.

Frankie told Sauti Simulizi that his relationship with Corazon failed because she had father figure issues.

Corazon felt offended that she had allowed a peaceful co-parenting with Frankie but he went ahead and disrespected her in the interview.

She said that co-parenting with Frankie has been hectic as some of his family have wanted to take the children away from her.

“I mean where do you draw the line? I’m pissed. I’ve been respectful, tried my best to co-parent and maintain an amicable relationship even with all the disrespect I receive on a daily for my kids: my kids need a sane mother, I’ve been told I didn’t have post postpartum depression.

“Because I wasn’t diagnosed, ‘post postpartum kila siku’ were the statements said by a fellow woman, this is while my baby is less than 2 months. I was diagnosed with clinical depression, and I begged for help. I was told ‘leta watoto tulee’ while you get your mental health right, I dusted myself…

“No one was going to take my kids. I rose like a phoenix. Finally, I’m doing better, I’ve healed/healing, I have an amazing man. You decide this is the time to torment me. Expose me, for what?! what do you achieve?” Corazon wrote.
