Angry Netizens Call Out Colonel Mustafa For Begging 1.5 Million Additional Donation

Colonel Mustafa says, he now needs help to raise 1.5 Million to 2 Million only to cater for how he’ll help his mother to satisfaction and end his woes.

Netizens have taken to social media to express their anger and disappointment towards veteran artist Colonel Mustapha, likening him to the infamous Omosh of Tahidi High, who after receiving help, kept on asking for more and more.

This comes after the former artist appeared in an interview where he appealed to Kenyans for additional financial support, stating that he needed approximately 1.5 to 2 million Kenyan shillings to stabilize his situation.

The interview conducted by Mustapha on The Gold Mine Show quickly gained traction online, and fans did not hold back their displeasure with his perceived sense of entitlement and many feel he’s taking advantage.

“We have a remaining amount, let’s say we get around 1 million or maybe 2 million, specifically let me say 1.5 million. If we can get that 1.5 million, everything will be fine,” Mustapha frankly told the host.

The talk show host, Denis, was slightly surprised by this and proceeded to inquire if Mustapha was certain that the requested amount was all he needed to address his mother’s medical bills.

Dennis also questioned whether obtaining the 1.5 million Kenyan shillings would relieve all concerns regarding his mother’s treatment.

“Will your mother’s medical bill be taken care of? So, your current target is 1.5 million? If you manage to get that one and a half million, will your mother receive treatment without any worries?” Dennis asked.

To which Mustapha responded that once he acquired the 1.5 million, he would be in a good position and no longer concerned about his mother’s situation. He further expressed his desire to be offered a job or sponsored to return to the entertainment industry, as that would enable him to stand on his own feet.

“After that, it’s all about music. If it’s music, you’ll support me, or if it’s a job, you’ll provide one, and from there, I’ll be able to fight for my mother until the end,” Mustapha replied.

All in all, cancer treatment is very expensive and Mustafa needs all the help he can get even as netizens ask if working in mjengo would’ve raised the money.
