City Lawyer Offers Free Legal Advice To Billionaire Jimnah Mbaru Who Has Been Sued By His Mpango Wa Kando

75-year-old billionaire Jimnah Mbaru impregnated his side chick when she was only 21 years old after which he ghosted her.

The now 24-year-old woman has sued the tycoon seeking over Ksh4.4 million per year in child support.

The woman, who gave birth in 2018, is seeking the said monies claiming that the wealthy businessman has neglected his parental responsibility for the said minor.

Through lawyer Suyianka Lempaa, the 24-year-old claims Mbaru donated his parental responsibility to one Erick Murimi Kaburu through the power of attorney, thereby, treating the child as a ‘property of chattel goods.’

“On or about September 1, 2020, the business Mogul gave power of attorney to the said Kaburu to be a “putative father” to the minor, terms of which are not known in any law.

“The said Memorandum of Understanding dated 10th September 2020, the “putative father” was required to pay Ksh50,000 per month, which amount has not been remitted for the maintenance of the minor,” the woman’s affidavit reads in part.

In the suit papers, she is seeking Ksh320,000 monthly and Ksh600,000 per year for school fees.

City lawyer Wahome Thuku has since come out to offer free legal advice to Mbaru in regard to the suit by his baby mama.

In a long post on social media, Thuku advise the tycoon that the best way to deal with the matter was to seek a settlement with his baby mama.

Below is what he wrote’

So billionaire businessman Jimnah Mbaru now 75, impregnates a 21 year old girl. The girl begets a bouncing baby boy who, in essence should call Mbaru great grandpa.

Three year down, the girl files a case against Mbaru for maintenance of the baby. She demands Ksh320,000 monthly expenses and Ksh600,000 yearly as school fees.

What does Mbaru do? He hires a lawyer to act for him in the case. That lawyer gets another lawyer to whom Mbaru gives what we call Power of Attorney.

Power of Attorney means the second lawyer can act as Mbaru in the case and act as the father of the child (putative father). He can sign all papers “as” Jimna Mbaru. In other words Jimna Mbaru the man doesn’t want any traces of himself (besides his seed) in this matter.

Doesn’t even want his name on the birth cert of the boy. That has never been heard in this country.

This second lawyer agrees to be giving the girl Ksh50,000 per month for the child (on behalf of Mbaru). Along the way he doesn’t even give her the money leaving the girl to take care of the baby alone.

My friend Lempaa Soyianka is now in the case appearing for the girl and I can guarantee you it will be noisy and messy.

Kwanza the high Court has held that a child has a right to have the biological father’s name in the birth cert. Lempaa is challenging the constitutionality of the Power of Attorney saying it can’t override the interests of the child. I support him fully.

If the billionare wants a smooth life for his remaining days the best way would be to deal with the boy now and settle it with him and mother once and for all. That’s the wisdom.

Don’t even attempt to bring the line that he was trapped. Don’t go there. No man is ever forced to mount the bed. It doesn’t matter. Take care of the baby na mambo ya putative further weka kando.
