Chiki Kuruka is celebrating two special people in her life. The birthday of her husband Bien of Sauti Sol band and that of her best friend Makena Njeri happens to be on December 28.
Bien just turned 45 years old and on the other hand Makena hit 30 years.
Chiki described Bien as her home saying that she was so proud of them.
“Today we celebrate YOU! They say you have to climb a mountain to reach the peak. We have done the work this year, and here we are, stronger than ever, at this peak.
“Happy birthday @bienaimesol, my homie, my family, my HOME.
The other day I said, I’m proud of you, and you replied ‘I’m proud of us’, I am SO proud of us. I cant wait for the world to feel us this next year, to see you through my eyes, and to know the enigma you are. ❤❤❤❤45 looks good on you for real!” her message read.

In a separate post, the radio presenter described Makena as a hero while saying that she found an ally and family in her.
“This year I found more than friendship. I found an ally. I found family. Happy birthday to a hero. You deserve only good things the fact that you and my hubby share a birthday explains so much why I just understood you from day one,” Chiki shared on her Insta stories.
Makena responded to the post by saying that Chiki and Bien have been her biggest supporters this year.
“You played such an important role in my life this year. You and Bien have been the biggest support system I could ever ask for. Thank you for being there today we celebrate Capricorns,” Makena’s response read.
