After enduring personal challenges, including a highly publicized breakup with comedian Mulamwah, Carol Sonnie is demonstrating remarkable resilience and determination by stepping out on her own.
The content creator, who previously lived with her parents, recently shared the exciting news of her move to her own house in a heartfelt YouTube video, expressing gratitude for the unwavering support from her fans and friends.
Sonnie reflected on her long-held fears about moving out, admitting that she often wondered where she would go after leaving her parents’ home.
“Your girl is finally moving out. It’s time to start life and see what it has in store for us. It was one of my greatest fears. I used to wonder where I would go after leaving my parents’ house. I wasn’t kicked out… But I’m actually super excited because this is something I didn’t expect to achieve so soon,” she shared, emphasizing her readiness to embrace this new chapter in her life.
In her message, Carol Sonnie showcased her determination to conquer the anxiety of starting anew.
“I am going to face that fear, the fear of starting afresh… It has been a very long journey. I love challenges, and Morine Actress and I had set certain targets,” she said.
Her family expressed their pride and offered words of encouragement.
Sonnie’s father congratulated her on the milestone, emphasizing the significance of maintaining focus.
“I got your news and it made me very happy. You made a very good decision because it shows you want to grow. This is your time, and from the bottom of my heart, I wish you all the best. You have my blessing as always,” he said.
Adding, “Life doesn’t stop; it keeps moving. If you lose focus, you lose everything. You know yourself and what you want in life. You have all my support. If you get stuck, you are free to talk to me. Just tell me anything; I’m always there for you.”
Meanwhile, Carol Sonnie’s mother expressed her joy while offering caution against peer pressure and living beyond her means.
“I got the news when you said you wanted to move out. I thank God because it came from your heart. As a parent, I would never tell you to leave, especially a girl child. A child never grows old in front of their parent. So, I want to tell you that peer pressure shouldn’t hurt you or make you do things you can’t afford,” she advised.
She encouraged Carol Sonnie to live within her means and to remain grounded in her relationship with God.
“The most important thing is to inform God about everything you do because He has good plans for your life. May God continue to bless you,” she said.
Carol Sonnie’s sisters echoed the sentiment of pride, praising her bravery in taking such a significant step.
“By the way, Sonie is usually afraid, but she made this step and she’s moving out. We are so proud of you,” they remarked, playfully reminding her that they would be visiting her nearly every day.
Although Carol Sonnie has yet to disclose the location of her new home, she promised her fans a house tour in the near future.
This bold move comes shortly after she celebrated reaching 100K subscribers on YouTube, marking a significant milestone in her journey as a content creator and inspiring many with her story of resilience and self-discovery.
Carol Sonnie gave birth to her daughter Keilah, whom she shares with Mulamwah, on September 20, 2021.
Mulamwah announced their breakup shortly after she gave birth to Keilah.
