Rising social media star Bradley Marongo, better known as Gen Z Goliath, has hit back at Kenyan actress and radio presenter Wilbroda after she publicly advised him to reconnect with his mother, who had expressed concern over his recent lack of communication.
Taking to Twitter, Bradley fired shots at Wilbroda, suggesting she should focus on more engaging content for her show on Milele FM rather than discussing his personal life.
“Huyu Wilbroda atafute content ya radio aache kuongelelea maisha ya watu. She is boring,” he tweeted, sparking a wave of reactions online.
The spat began after Wilbroda, a beloved actress and media personality, publicly reminded Bradley that he was not a full-fledged celebrity but rather an internet sensation who could quickly fade into obscurity, like many before him.
She referenced Samuel McOure as an example, cautioning Bradley not to let fleeting fame get to his head.
Wilbroda’s remarks followed comments from Bradley’s mother, who recently voiced concern about her son’s lack of communication.
Wilbroda advised Bradley to make amends with his mother and seek her blessings, warning that ignoring family could hinder his long-term success.
However, Bradley had a sharp retort. He accused his mother of ignoring him during his financial struggles, implying that her concern had surfaced only after he began to gain fame and fortune. This response was viewed by Wilbroda as disrespectful.
“Bradley Mtall should come down. Taking photos with influencers is making him overly excited, but he shouldn’t forget he’s not a celebrity. When his mum complained, he replied that she wasn’t answering his calls when he was broke. Now is the time to seek his mother’s blessings for a bright future rather than being dismissive,” she urged.
The public spat has since divided fans, with some siding with Bradley for his independence and others supporting Wilbroda’s call for humility and family unity.
