It seems Pritty Vishy and JCM church Bishop Ben Kiengei have finally buried the hatchet after their meeting on Wednesday.
The duo have been trending for about two days after Kiengei body shamed Pritty Vishy during a televised interview.
The Bishop’s actions were heavily criticized with many Kenyans, including celebrities, standing in solidarity with the content creator. Others, like Karen Nyamu, took the Bishop’s side.
Pritty threatened that she will visit Kiengei’s church on Sunday so that he can body shame her face to face.
Following the backlash, Kiengei apologized to Pritty but she was not satisfied with the apology and demanded for a written apology.
Kiengei took it seriously, meeting Pritty Vishy in person, probably in a bid to convince her that he was genuinely sorry.
The Bishop took to Facebook to share details if his meeting with Pritty, admitting that she was a good and vibrant soul.
” The famine doesn’t live for long,” he wrote. ” Today I’ve just understood that God can push you to do things even when you don’t look like doing it when a particular destiny is calling. Pritty Vishy is a good, clean and vibrant soul that needed to meet Bishop Ben.”
Kiengei admitted that they were meeting in an uncomfortable scenario but that was a new beginning for them.
He added that they spoke and forgave each other, after which, he invited investors who would work with Pritty from now on.
“I invited some investors because I have found that we should use Pritty’s influence in a positive way for her to build and change the way things are working in her life,” the Bishop said.
The brands that she will be working with, according to Kiengei, include; Zunguka Africa Safari’s LTD, Fanikisha Micro-finance, Smartworld, Cactus Properties and Jujys Mahogany Centre,” he said.
Vishy’s manager Sharon Samba was also present during the meeting.
