A netizen has been angered after Gloria Kyallo referred to her boyfriend, Ken Warui, as bro while celebrating his birthday.
Responding to the comment, Gloria asked the netizen why he was jealous about her calling her boyfriend boyfriend.
In her birthday message, Gloria however clearly explained why she prefers calling Ken bro.
“Hey Bro! Happy happy birthday I know that already calling you bro is raising an alarm but lets unpack that…Ken, you are the most brilliant, most kind, most compassionate and fun person I have ever met. With you, I feel seen, I feel heard and I feel so loved with you more than I’ve ever felt with anyone,” she wrote.
“No one could ever understand our beautiful dynamic, how we’re best friends, bros and lovers but its so clear in our little bubble😊.

This is however not the first time Gloria’s move of calling Ken bro was raising eyebrows.
Last month, during an episode in Kyallo Kulture reality series, Gloria referred to Ken as bro, sparking reactions among her sisters.
“The moment I call my boyfriend ‘bro’, know that it’s over,” Betty said as Mercy added, “When I call you bro, it means you are broke.”
From the incident, many concluded that the elder sisters had little respect for Ken.
