“Unaita nani baby mama?” Betty Kyallo totally dislikes references that reminds her of her ex-husband Dennis Okari.
The mother of one opened up about co-parenting with Okari while speaking with Obinna on his YouTube show.
“That term sounds so… I don’t even know how to explain it. Like baby mama sijui it sounds aje, mimi sijawahi itwa hivyo,” Betty Kyallo said.
She went on to add that the main reason she did not like the term was the fact that she felt it was mostly attributed to argumentative ladies.
“Like it gives me the sense of an angry, confrontational lady just yelling like come here! Don’t do this and that to my baby and so on… I just think of myself as a lady who has a child with a guy,” Betty explained.
Asked if she was a good ‘baby mama’, Betty said; “I’m a good mama, that I know so what does that (good baby mama) mean?”
“A good baby mama is one who lets the dad see the kid/kids, doesn’t talk bad about the dad to the kid(s) or try to make the kid hate the dad and so on….” Obinna elaborated.
“If that’s the case then yeah, of course I am. People who have seen us out there… like we are very peaceful, very peaceful. We are actually good friends,” Betty said.
Dennis Okari and Betty Kyallo dated for about four years before they tied the knot in a lavish wedding on October 2, 2015 at Marula Manor Gardens, Karen Street, Nairobi. Unfortunately, the two journalists decided to part ways and go their separate ways just six months later, leaving many Kenyans in shock.
During their time together, the two were blessed with a beautiful daughter together, Ivanna who they now co-parent.
Betty and Okari went their separate ways just six months after their wedding, infidelity was reportedly the cause of their breakup.
Betty cheated with Hassan Joho and when her ex husband Okari found out he divorced her immediately.
