Former Gengetone singer Peter Miracle Baby has left netizens with mixed reactions after a video of him performing in a club surfaced on social media.
Miracle Baby was performing the popular Sailors’ song Wamlambez as an excited crowd joined him.
Accompanying him was his wife Carol Katrue who also sang the lyrics word by word..
“Kwani huyu alipona akasahau alikuwa ameokoka,” a netizen was left bewildered by the video.
In February this year, an ailing Miracle Baby announced that he will get saved and serve the Lord once he is healed from the recurring stomach condition that had been affecting him for years.
True to his word, the youthful Mugithi artist was anointed by Apostle John Paul in June this year and he promised to minister to the end of time.
“I have been approved as a pastor by Apostle John Paul. I will serve God. Thank you, Apostle John Paul, for anointing me with oil. I will serve God until the end,” he said.
However after several weeks, Miracle Baby and his wife were no longer a show in church, sparking reactions among netizens who have been following their journey keenly.
Miracle Baby would then be spotted spreading the word of God through social media.
His wife was forced to come out and clarify the turn of events.
“Peter is not under any church. He will be preaching for you online. You won’t be seeing us in any church. He needs a spiritual dad and we had tried, not once or twice or three but because of reasons we can’t say here. We saw that there was something beneficial…this wants to benefit from this, so we decided to better quit,” the mother of one said.
“I just wanted to clear the air because many people were saying they were not seeing us in church. We are not under any pastor, we are not in any church and that is it. Peter will be preaching and serving God online. He will be talking to people online,” Carol Katrue added.
