Awinja Nyamwalo aka Jacky Vike is a happy woman after getting a job as an ambassador in the Kenya Kwanza government led by president William Ruto.
Awinja uploaded a video on his social media and revealed that he has finally been recognized as an ambassador to raise awareness in the community about the effects of Neglected Tropical Diseases.
Awinja expressed his happiness and said that it has been his dream to one day work with the Ministry of Health in the country to warn about various diseases that are bothering people and can only be prevented in a simple way.
“Ladies and Gentlemen I give you the new Brand Ambassador for Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). It was such an honour to get this role the same day we are Celebrating the world day for NTDs

Awinja was officially unveiled as the brand ambassador on January 30, 2023, – when people all over the world celebrated the day to raise awareness about tropical diseases that were forgotten.
Through his Instagram, Awinja shared a short video showing how he celebrated the World NTD Day event organized at the Acacia Premier hotel in Kisumu.
The former Papa Shirandula actress accompanied some of her co-stars in the show to Kisumu where they raised awareness about NTD diseases.
