Parenting is a beautiful journey that most people in marriage look forward to.

This year, several celebrities have embarked on the journey. While some have been parents for a while, for others, it is a whole new experience.

Below are some of the popular personalities who have been blessed with bundles of Joys this year.

1. Mammito

The popular female comedian is the latest celebrity to announce news about the arrival of her long-awaited and first child.

Mammito announced she was pregnancy in October last year, and as days went by, fans felt that she was now becoming pregnant for too long.

When they least expected it, she took to social media to share her a post, asking what one is supposed to do after her water breaks. She later shared a photo with her child in hospital.

She is yet to reveal the gender or the father of her baby. In December 2024, she however said that the pregnancy was planned.

2. Mary Kilobi 

Cotu boss Francis Atwoli, 75, and his youngest wife Mary Kilobi, who is an anchor at KTN,  are new parents in town.

The couple have been blessed with a baby boy after 7 years in marriage, with the news coming as a surprise to Kenyans as they kept the pregnancy under wraps.

In an interview with The Nation, Mary,40, explained the decision to keep such good news private.

“But also, why would I put it out there? This journey was personal to us. We wanted to protect it from outside noise and speculation,”she said.

She also said that she didn’t seek any medical help to be finally able to conceive her child.

“I believe everything happens when it is meant to, I am happy,” she said.

Her close friend Anastacia Mukabwa further confirmed the news about the newborn, revealing that he has been named Samuel.

“Finally God has done wonders of my sister. Mr and Mrs Atwoli, glory to our God waliokudharau watakusalimia kwa heshima Mama Samuel,” she wrote on Facebook.

Anastacia added that, ” Guys help me celebrate and congratulate her for this great miracle after waiting for 7 years without a child in marriage.”

The gospel singer extended her gratitude to Mary for standing with her  during sickness.

Accompanying the post were photos of Mary and her family when she was expectant.

3. Dorea Chege

The actress and her husband DJ Dibul announced that their daughter had been born on March 23, 2025.

“I fought for you, I prayed for you, I yearned for you. And now, holding you in my arms, I realize that all the sacrifices, all the struggles, were worth every single moment. Welcome to the world, our precious princess,” Dorea wrote on Instagram.

Before they announced that they were pregnant in January, Kenyans had speculated this but the couple denied it.

4. Milly wa Jesus

The content creator welcomed her third child with Kabi in January this year at a luxurious maternity ward.

They however received criticism, when they shared their delivery video.
