Betty Kyallo will sue everyone who has shared or escalated that she took part in explicit content production.
There were numerous fabricated stories that some dirty video tape and materials had leaked online where Betty Kyallo features. Some furthered the narrative, with Photoshop images showing the businesswoman.
Via her lawyers, she has warned that everyone who has posted or re-shared the story or photos will face the music.
“It has come to our attention that a false story is in circulation on social media platforms insinuating that media personality and entrepreneur Betty Kyallo has taken part in the production of explicit content.” The statement reads.
Betty has shared via social media the statement saying, “We have lodged an official complaint with the DCI, Director of Cyber-crime and we have been assured that any person(s) and/or blogs, social media accounts found guilty of originating the false news will be prosecuted.”
Looks like things will get seriously thick for anyone who has shared her story.
“The nature of the content circulating social media platforms is false, malicious and of the intent to tarnish the Betty Kyallo brand which has been carefully cultivated over the past decade.” the statement reads further.
“The Betty Kyallo brand has served as an inspiration to many young Kenyans, has directly and indirectly created employment for many and it purposes to continue doing so.”
This is not the first time such malicious stuff has been alleged, even when they are blatant lies.
With law suits coming in, it will serve as a lesson to punish people who love spreading fakes stories, news and allegations.
It is not right to tarnish and try to spoil business opportunities for someone. Betty has worked so hard to get where she is today.
From time to time, such naysayers have caused more damage than they can imagine.
Apart from character assassination, business eventually ends up being affected, before clarity is arrived at.
It should not happen to anyone, whether a famous, public figure or an ordinary Kenyan.
The attacks on Betty must end immediately, she is a human who is surely affected by the bad stories that often go unquestioned about her, although she chooses to stay silent-because a majority of them are lies, rumors or fabrications.
