Atheists in Kenya have launched a new campaign to recruit new members, baiting Kenyans with handsome cash reward.
Just like churches and mosques, Atheists in Kenya Society is also registered under the Societies Act in Kenya. It is the first non-religious society to be registered in the country.
The society was established in Nairobi, Kenya, on February 17, 2016. Harrison Mumia is the founder and president. The foundation has its headquarters in Cargen House, Nairobi.
Atheists in Kenya Society is seeking to expand and as such it has launched massive recruitment campaign.
The society’s president Mumia is calling upon Kenyans to renounce their religious beliefs and join the atheists who don’t believe in the existence of God.
According to a poster shared on his socials, one must be over 18 and he/she must identify as an atheist.
Benefits of registering under The Harrison Mumia-led society listed that the benefits extended to their registered new members.
They include:
1. The society will provide members and their immediate families, a spouse and children, with a KSh 20,000 medical cover and KSh 20,000 in funeral expenses.
