Anerlisa Muigai is not a fan of alcoholic products produced by her mother’s liquor company Keroche breweries.
The Keroche heiress raised eyebrows when she confessed that she doesn’t drink alcohol at all.
The 34-year-old spoke about her sobriety in her post on social media saying that even though she doesn’t drink she always in high spirits like her drunk friends.
“My friends don’t get how I don’t drink but would be on the same level as everyone else,” she wrote.
Even though Anerlisa doesn’t drink alcohol, her brother on the other hand is a lousy drunk.
Sometime in December 2021, Anerlisa posted clips of her eldest brother in his drunken stupor during a house party they both attended.
Anerlisa confession that she doesn’t drink alcohol comes shortly after Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) shut down her mother’s company over a tax dispute.
Keroche Breweries has been embroiled in the tax dispute with KRA since 2008.
The row played out again on June 15, 2022, with the taxman shutting down the Naivasha-based brewer over fresh tax arrears.
It was the sixth time in one year that KRA closed down Keroche brewery leaving it to incur losses running to millions of shillings.
