Kibe discovered that his wife was has saved a man as a woman in her phone.
The discovery came at a time he wanted to sell his movie shop.
According to him, the person who was so much interested in buying it was the one in his wife’s phone.
“I had a shop that I was selling, it was a movie shop. Some people had shown interest. One guy who was really interested in it tells me call me and give directions to your house,” he recounted.
Kibe decided to use his wife’s phone to contact the man since his phone had no credit.
When he tried the client’s phone, he discovered that he had been saved as a woman in his wife’s phone.
“Nikaangalia simu yangu simu yangu sikuwa na credit na since niko na wife, because I was puny bro. Since niko na wife nikamwambia hebu nipatie hiyo simu yako I need to call somebody, she didn’t even know who I was calling so she just gave me her phone. I take her phone, I dial the number and I press. Upon pressing dial inatokea number imejisave hapo na imejisave na jina ya dem,” the former radio host said.
Kibe said that he thought he had dialed the wrong number and attempted for the second time.
“I deleted that number and dialed it again slowly. I rarely make mistakes but in my mind I was like I had I made a mistake. I dial again and the name shows up,” he said, laughing at himself, “Kinuthia is me, I am the Kinuthia.”
According to Kibe, the man had probably wanted to buy the shop for his wife. Angered by what was happening, he slammed the phone to the wall.
The incident however did not see Kibe part ways with his wife. They spent another two and a half years together.
“The Kinuthia in me was very strong,” he said.
