Digital content creator Kendrick Mulamwah has taken to social media to vehemently defend himself against claims made by his ex-partner Carol Sonnie, who suggested they are co-parenting peacefully.
Contrary to Sonnie’s assertions, Mulamwah insists that he currently has no relationship with their daughter, Keilah, arguing that this narrative misrepresents the reality of their situation.
In a candid video on his YouTube channel, Mulamwah stated, “Hakuna haja ya kwenda kwa Jeff and saying ‘Mulamwah has a good relationship with his daughter.’ There is no relationship.”
He expressed his disappointment in not seeing Keilah since she was just four months old, challenging Sonnie’s portrayal of their situation in public discussions.
Mulamwah expressed a strong desire to connect with his daughter but feels hindered by Sonnie’s actions.
“You have sent me letters demanding sole custody yet out here I am being called a deadbeat. There is a lot. Unless we all ease up, everything will flow,” he stated, emphasizing the ongoing rift between them.
Acknowledging the time that has passed, he revealed, “Nitadrive niende kwao, I haven’t gone there in years. If you see me with the baby know things are OK, if not…”
This public outburst comes in direct response to an interview Sonnie conducted with YouTuber Jeff Kuria, during which she referred to the relationship between Mulamwah and Keilah as being “OK.”
Kuria raised questions about the status of their co-parenting, prompting Sonnie to share her perspective on the matter.
Under pressure from Kuria to clarify her statements, Sonnie laughed and claimed, “My relationship with my daughter is perfect. His relationship with her is sawa.”
As Kuria continued to probe for clarity on the father-daughter relationship, Sonnie insisted it was “sawa,” but a lack of specificity left the audience questioning the true nature of the relationship.
As their daughter Keilah approaches her third birthday this September, this public dispute continues to unfold, with both parties seemingly on opposite sides of a contentious co-parenting narrative.
