Madonna is living her best life in Kenya.
Singer Madonna is in Kenya with all her adopted children.
She came with David Banda, 18, Chifundo “Mercy” James, 17, and the twins Stella and Estere, both 11 years old.
The worldwide known pop icon painted a painting out of shattered stone in the Nairobi slum of Kibera to celebrate Kennedy Odede’s outstanding efforts as the creator of Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO).
Madonna had nothing but praise for Odede saying, “An organization he created when he was a child living in the slums of Nairobi to improve the lives of families living in these challenging conditions.”
SHOFCO focuses on water purification, education, providing financing for both men and women to start businesses, and combating gender-based violence.
By empowering women, allowing them to pursue legal action, and providing them with a secure environment in which to do so, lives are better in the slums of Kibera and many others by SHOFCO.
After visiting Raising Malawi, an initiative that improves the lives of vulnerable and orphaned children in Malawi through health, education, and community support, Madonna embarked on her trip to Kenya.
