Akuku Danger sent a passionate plea to Kenyans to help him raise money to settle his bill after he was detained in hospital.
The comedian was discharged from Nairobi West hospital on June 20, 2022, but could not be released to go home because of the huge bill.
He was admitted to the facility on June 8 after falling sick again. His medical bill accrued to a whopping Ksh823,000 after deductions from his insurance.
Well-wishers responded to Akuku’s plea for help and donated enough money to surpass the Ksh823,000 target.
Akuku and his girlfriend Sandra Dacha announced they had achieved their target but nonetheless asked people to continue contributing.
