“Kumbe kupanga harusi ni ngumu hivi,” Akothee lamented amid preparations for her wedding.
The singer is set to wed her sweetheart Omondi whom she nowadays refers to as her husband already.
The singer shared a clip of while she was at her maternal home making preparations for her traditional wedding.
“Kumbe harusi ni ngumu hivi,” Akothee captioned the clip.
The wedding preparations comes after Omondi’s family flew to Kenya in January 2023 for dowry negotiations with Akothee’s father.
Omondi’s family members went to Rongo to meet Akothee father to discuss dowry that they needed to pay to pave way for the traditional wedding.
Akothee jokingly said that her father demanded 50 cows as dowry during the negotiations.
“Tumefika 50 cows now bikos of Sony sugar tukifika Makalda kwa gold ,titaitisha 60 cows 
! Denis Omondi get ready!” she shouts excitedly.
