Akothee got married at the age of 14 after getting pregnant for her baby daddy.
By the age of 16, Akothee was already a mother of three children. She gave birth to her children in quick succession.
The controversial singer was married to her first love Jared Okello with whom she has three children with, they would have had four but one died.
Akothee reflected on her motherhood journey when she visited Migori County Referral Hospital’s maternity wing.
“Wao I can now comfortably get pregnant. I had the privilege to visit the Migori County Referral Hospital today. I took a tour of the whole health Facility. And trust me I never thought it existed. The maternity Wing is clean as you can see well spaced , and the most amazing part was the special Unit , where the premature babies are being handled. What I saw today gave me hope for mother’s 🙏.
“I had my first born at 20 weeks & I stayed in hospital for 4 months ,🙏 I was only 14 so you u know I relate very well with maternity.
“Please tell a friend to Tell a friend that we are fully equipped with all your maternity needs both pre & post maternity needs. Tell any pregnant woman you meet that clinic starts the moment you realize you are pregnant,” she wrote.
