Akothee says she cries whenever bad thoughts cross her mind because of her dad’s condition.
The mother of five opened up about her father’s condition while reminiscing about how her parents walked her down the aisle.
“The first time my parents walk me down the aisle and handed me over to the man 💞. My dream finally came true. My parents handed me over officially to The man I have chosen to live happily with,” Akothee wrote in part.
Akothee added that her father, who had always been attending her concerts, has been sick since 2019.
“My dad Has not been well since he got an attack after Akothee Foundation concert back in 2019 September. Things have never been the same again. My dad comes to my concerts, but not anymore due to his condition 🙏. I avoided seeing him because I breakdown whenever bad thoughts pass through my mind.
“I have been crying since then. I keep a strong head going to see him at home. Then cry the entire journey back to my home, no idea why. My dad is my number one fan and a supporter. I see my dad I see love. I feel love and acceptance,” Akothee added.
Akothee noted that she would have been heartbroken if her father failed to attend her wedding.
“If my dad missed my wedding in any reason, I would have been heartbroken 💔( dine alokora janeko ) story for another day. I feel like this is the climax of my life and he should if not must have been part of it.
“I thank my Mom for making sure Daddy Josy ,Ajos Tinga attended my wedding too. My mum equally was not feeling soo well but for the love of A child they made it safely and handed me over to my Husband Mr Schweizer ❤️
“Now my parents can have some peace , They know I am safe with @misteromosh. Nothing hurts a parent like having a jumpy daughter. Congratulations to my PARENTS.”
