Akothee suffered epic makeup fail after paying a lot of money to get her face glittering.
The singer sought the services of her makeup artist as she was to attend the opening of Naivas supermarket’s new branch along Kiambu road.
Akothee tagged Omondi to the opening ceremony as she was among the VIPs invited to the function.
Netizens noticed Akothee was looking like a clown when she took close-up photos and shared on social media.
Trolls started poking fun at her makeup with some even asking her to fire her makeup artist.
Akothee took to social media hours later to rant about her makeup, lamenting that it ruined her day.
She disclosed that she paid Ksh4,000 to get her face done only for the results to be unsatisfactory.
The singer said the money doesn’t pain her but she was pissed because of the hours she spent to get her face done.
Akothee added that she will soon stop using makeup altogether.
“Hiii make up hapana, Eeee. Make up can ruin your whole function. And I actually told them I don’t feel it and everyone was like ,you look great 😭 Now 4000 gone just like this. I will soon drop make up, Hii imeniumaaaa sanaaaaa. Hata hiyo pesa haijaniuma, kenye imeniuma ni. I had to wake up at 5.30 am just for the same make up yet I only slep at 1.00 am,” Akothee complained.
