Akothee appeared to have reignited her beef with her younger sister Elseba Awuor Kokeyo alias Cebbie Koks, whom she clashed with in 2020, following her latest controversial post on Instagram.
In a recent post on social media, Akothee shared a photo of Omondi and her chilling on their manicured lawn at the singer’s multimillion-shillings home in Rongo, Migori county.
In the post, Akothee sarcastically claimed that she was lazy and taking photos at hotels and people’s homes.
“Now you understand why I am lazy taking photos in hotels or people’s homes whenever I visit, I am very okay,” Akothee wrote.

Akothee’s post was interpreted to be an attack directed at her sister since she is the one who was spreading rumours that Akothee was broke and living a fake lifestyle.
The controversial singer come out to deny that her post was directed at her sister after blogs reported that she was shedding Cebbie.
“This is the most malicious comment I have ever come Across. Just like every family do not take advantage of our challenges for your own comfort. Every family has issues including yours . I will not stand here and allow you use my family on your pages for traction. You know I know how to deal with trolls. This is my blood younger sister & nothing can change , amidst the challenges I still love and cherish her , , she can never be my enemy nor my competition neither can I refer to her as a workmate.

Cebbie first clashed with Akothee in July 2020 after her text messages which claimed that her elder sister was broke leaked online.
The two once again clashed in October 2022 over their planned weddings. Akothee angrily blasted Cebbie whom she said was just jealous of her.
