Actress Sandra Dacha, who was a close friend of Ochonjo, took to social media to share the tragic news with his fans. In her emotional post, she revealed that he took his last breath at 2am.
“A day like this last week is when we took you to the hospital. My colleague @ochonjodunco took his last breath at 2am today😭. 10/5/2023. You embrace death because life doesn’t exist without you.”
“You have left some wonderful memories that will never fade from our hearts. Until we meet again rest in peace Ochos🕊️. Life is pleasant. DEATH is peaceful. It’s the transition that’s troublesome. REST IN PEACE my friend/colleague!”
The late Duncan Ochonjo had been hospitalized due to complications with his liver.
Duncan Ochonjo was not just a TikTok star and a talented comedian on Njoro wa Uba; he was also an actor who made his mark in the entertainment industry.
His video skits with fellow comedians like Mike Wako and Onsogo touched the hearts of many;his humor and creativity were truly unmatched, and his contributions to the Luo comedy scene will never be forgotten.
