Gospel singer Betty Bayo married her sweetheart Tash six years after her marriage to controversial pastor Victor Kanyari hit rock bottom.
The gospel singer was blessed with two children for the three years that she was married to pastor Victor Kanyari.
The two got married in 2012 but annulled their marriage three years later after the preacher was exposed for performing fake miracles.
She accused Kanyari of many things after their breakup, she claimed that the controversial preacher demanded her to bleach her skin.
Betty found love again. She introduced her new sweetheart in May 2021 but kept his face hidden from the public until September when she unveiled him.
Betty and her fiancé only known as Tash have since gotten married in a traditional wedding ceremony. The two lovebirds took to social media on Sunday December 19th to break the big news.
“I was invited but I could not make it since I was in Nandi. I think it is dowry payment. I was called on the same day and when things were already underway. Imagine, the event is at 1:00 pm and they are calling you at that particular time, kama inaendelea,” Pastor Kanyari said during an interview with Mpasho.
He added that;
“I don’t want to reveal who invited me because I don’t want to be seen as a snitch. I think they were afraid but I wouldn’t have caused trouble.”
Kanyari also disclosed that he didn’t offer his ex wife any wedding presents because she has the best present ever that he gave her – their two children.
“I didn’t call nor send a present since they already have my kids as my present. My kids were part of the lineup and so I was well represented. My blood was still there.”
The controversial preacher further reiterated that there was no bad blood between him and his ex wife.
