Matatu SACCO Super Metro will offer its loyal customers free bus rides on all routes starting Monday next week.
Super Metro chairman Nelson Mwangi has said they are offering free rides to appreciate their customer’s loyalty.
The appreciation follows Sacco’s launch of 50 new buses that have been acquired through different models of financing.
“As a way of appreciating the love & support, starting next week, expect FREE RIDES to all our routes,” the Matatu SACCO posted on its Facebook page.
Super Metro plies four routes in the city; Kikuyu-Nairobi route 105, Nairobi-Juja Route 236 , Nairobi-Thika/Makongeni Route 237 and Ngong – Nairobi Route 111.
The SACCO also announced that it had acquired a fleet of 50 buses from Isuzu which will be used to expand its service offering to city customers. Super Metro is expecting 50 more buses from the motor manufacturer.
“Today we launched the new NQR 7th Generation at @IsuzuKenya and God is the only reason that we have made it this far. Ours is to thank all our partners led by ISUZU EAST AFRICA for the trust and support they accord us,” the SACCO said in a Facebook page.
Additionally, the SACCO called on staff to uphold the free rides initiative next week and to continue serving customers diligently.
“To our staff members, drivers and conductors, it’s our humble prayer that God guides you in all you do as you interact with our esteemed clients serving them with dignity & respect,” the SACCO added.
The Sacco has been hailed by many of its users as friendly, with most of them praising its customer service.
“They are among the best-managed SACCOs in Nairobi. Always well maintained mechanically. They are orderly and they are clean,” Road Alerts stated.
The free rides come a month after similar offers by the same Sacco.
